Whew! My mom, best friend Beth, and I finally made it home after the big Houston Bridal Extravaganza show today. I had heard it was going to be big and long so I made sure we were all prepared to get there at opening which was 10 am so we could hit the ground running. What I was not prepared for was how mentally exhausting it would be. And also a lack of food by caterers and bakeries that were trying to get you to book them. Hello! How can I book you if you don’t have at least a sample at the show?? I don’t feel as if we got too much crossed off our list but going was very informative. I was able to score four dance lessons for Mike and I for only $10 which is an awesome bargain. I also have the bridal party tuxes under control with Mike getting a free tux and the rest of the party getting free shoe and vest rentals. I thought that was nice of me ;) Oh I scheduled my first dress shopping appointment at Alfred Angelo so I am excited about that. Out of all the fashion shows theirs was the best. The florists were all scary. I just can’t get past paying $200+ for a bridal bouquet so I’m going to have to work on that one. I am not a flower person so it really just floors me. Maybe I can find some nice, cheap flowers to use instead of roses and such.

Hmm that is about it. We survived and now I’m off to San Antonio for the rest of the weekend. Man is it going to be a long drive.
