Once again I was able to take a Flex Friday at work today and now I am at home scrambling to read old and current posts on The Knot before I hit the Houston Bridal Extravaganza tomorrow at the George R Brown Convention Center. I am a tad nervous/overwhelmed feeling as the show will have over 900 vendors from the Houston area and many vendors offer discounts for booking on the spot. So I want to make sure I know who to avoid and who to make sure to talk to before I get there and become totally overwhelmed and lost. I surely don’t want to find out I either missed out on a great vendor or booked a crappy one.

My other project for this afternoon should be fun. I’m going to run to Office Max and pick up a notebook to use for wedding ideas. I’m going to start going thru my Bridal magazines and cutting out pictures and pasting them in the notebook. I think I’m going to get a 5 subject or something so I can easily find the categories by the subject splits. This way when I meet with people I can show them some ideas and we can figure out what will work within my budget. I might try to get it started tonight so that if I see someone tomorrow I can show them what I’m thinking so I can get accurate quotes.
