Healthy Tips: A new series!
I love my subscriptions to Shape and Self magazines but I don’t like keeping the magazines around all the time once I’ve read them. So instead I have been going through the past year’s worth of magazines and writing down helpful tidbits in a notebook. I’ve come across so many that would be helpful for everyone so I want to start a new series called “Healthy Tips”. These won’t be long posts - mainly just helpful tips and tidbits of information but I hope they will be informative and useful.
The first “Healthy Tip”:
30 minutes of daily, vigorous activity…
is all you need to prevent long-term weight gain, and
you will be more than twice as likely to maintain a steady BMI for 20 years.
When you think about it, 30 minutes is one tv sitcom. Just put a tv in front of your cardio equipment and start working out. You will be so distracted by what’s going on with the tv show you won’t even notice the 30 minutes flying by. So get moving today for a happy and healthier you!
