I was checking out Yahoo! News tonight and came across this really cool headline article and had to read what it was about. As a preface, I have lived in Houston for 3 years now and I absolutely love it here. There is a lot to do but at the same time there are many times when I don’t know what to do if that makes sense. Well I think this article was meant for me. i just wish I would have seen it 2 months ago when I was preparing for my staycation here in Houston. The premise of the article was that Houston’s Convention and Visitor’s Bureau has put together a list of 33 attractions/things to do here in Houston for less than $2! That is quite the bargain if you ask me. I scanned through the list pretty quickly and found a few interesting sites and things I didn’t know about before such as the farmer’s markets in the area and the beer can house. Both are things I will make sure to check out really soon.
If you are in Houston, the surrounding area, or just want a cheap vacation give Houston and the 33 attractions under $2 listing a try. You might find some fun places to check out!
