Sorry I just had to get that out. This is what Mike and I were yelling at the chunk of steak we were trying to cook tonight well finish cooking tonight each time we opened up the oven. The steak was just too big to cook in one large chunk and it just wouldn’t cook as easily as it should have. In the end we ended up with well done on the outer parts and medium well on the inner. I wish I could have had my perfect medium like I did the other night but with blood still gushing throughout most of the cooking time it just wasn’t going to happen. At least it was still juicy and fairly tender. I might have to try the meat thermometer and see if that works. Apparently going based on thickness doesn’t work out too well as I’ve only had it work once in 5 times. Better luck next time I guess.
