No that is not a typo! I ran across a website today that is running an iPod Auction for over 1,000 iPod Nanos and Touches. If you are in need of the perfect birthday gift or starting on your Christmas shopping this would be a great place to start. All auctions start at just $1 and will go up from there which means you have a really good chance at winning an iPod for less than current retail prices. The iPods are actually excess inventory from various businesses so you do not have to worry about receiving a used or refurbished iPod either. I personally think iPods are the greatest thing since walkmans for avid exercisers (you can’t really run with a Discman you know) so if you enjoy exercising or have someone that does but they don’t have an iPod here is your chance at a perfect gift at a budget price.

So now that you are pumped up, I bet you are wondering who is running these auctions? Well I will fill you in. uBid.com is the company behind this auction. uBid.com is an auction site that sets businesses up to sell to consumers (Business to consumer) whereas eBay.com which you are pretty familiar with is a consumer to consumer site (you and me selling to one another). The advantage you have by using uBid.com versus eBay.com is that uBid has a 100% no fraud guarantee since they only work with manufacturers and retailers that have excess inventory they need to sell quickly. Therefore, you don’t have to worry if the seller you are buying from has the item in stock or not. uBid.com is your inside connection to excess inventory from the world’s most trusted brands so give them a try today. I know I will be trying to snatch an iPod nano for my mother’s birthday present this fall.

This sounds like a good idea. I’m going to do a quick google and see what others say about ubid and just may have to pick up a couple of these for gifts too!
Kimberly @ AllAboutKimberlys last blog post..Whew! I’m Back
I know. It is such a good deal. I think I’m going to give it a try. I know I won’t be able to get one for $1 but if I could get one for half price or so that would be totally worth it for me.
