Disney Parks Channel on YouTube!

This entry is part 10 of 23 in the series Disney Trip Planning

How awesome is this fellow Disney fans and vacation planners? Disney has launched the Disney Parks Channel on YouTube and a contest to get it started. The website’s purpose is to help you discover Disney Theme Parks by watching both offical “Disney-made” videos and unofficial or “visitors” videos. The visitor videos are what the contest is all about! Disney wants you to help launch this site and is offering a trip of a lifetime to Disneyland to one lucky winner. All you have to do is share 1 favorite memory of visiting a Disney Theme park and shoot a small video (1 minute or less) of yourself talking about your favorite memory and plugging their website. Sounds easy enough! Personally I think this is going to become one of my favorite Disney vacation planning tools. Official rules and time tables are at www.youtube.com/disneyparks.

So here is why you will want to get your webcams or camcorders out and enter in this fun contest as it is straight from the official webpage:

WELCOME
Here’s your chance to share your most cherished Disney Parks memories with other Disney fans around the world and WIN a stay in the exclusive, new Disneyland® Dream Suite! Just submit a video, up to one minute long, of your favorite Disney Parks memory.

One Grand Prize winner will receive a once-in-a-lifetime trip to the Disneyland® Resort, including a night in the Disneyland® Dream Suite, airfare, 2-day Theme Park passes and ground transportation for a family of 4. Finalists will receive an Annual Pass to the Disney Park of their choice.

HOW TO ENTER
Just upload a video (up to one minute long) of your favorite Disney Parks memory. It can be actual footage of your Disney vacation, a re-enactment or any creative expression of your memory. And it can be a memory of any Disney Parks property: Disney Cruise Line®, Adventures by Disney, Walt Disney World® Resort, Disneyland® Resort, etc.

Remember to follow these simple rules:

1. Say (or show) the words “My Favorite Disney Parks Memory” at the beginning of your video.
2. Make sure your video is one minute or less.
3. Only use props and clothing that are free of company logos.
4. Only use original music, lyrics or video clips that you have the rights to use.
5. Only include people, even in the background, that have given permission to be included.
