I’m not much of a video gamer but there is one game I am always up for playing: Guitar Hero! I first discovered/played this game at my coworkers house during a lousy LSU vs. Florida football game last fall before LSU came back and beat Florida. I had never had so much fun. So after much discussion, Mike and I got 2 guitars and Guitar Hero 1-3 for Christmas. It has been quite a blast being on “tour” and rocking the crowds let me tell you. So naturally when the announcement for Guitar Hero Aerosmith came out I knew what Mike was getting for his birthday. Yup! The latest Guitar Hero game. I actually did an in-store pickup at Best Buy today so that I could mark it off the list and not worry about searching the store to find it. This feature is quite a good deal if you just want one or two things but don’t want to deal with “shopping” for them at the store. Because they pulled the pack with the guitar and had to go get just the game I saved $10 because my order was not ready immediately at the store. How cool is that?
So now I’m sitting her digesting my snack salad so I can go run at the gym and I am trying to channel my inner Guitar Hero. It has been a few months since Mike and I have been able to play with his studying and all so I need to get ready for this weekend. I have a feeling we are going to have fun Saturday night playing but I don’t want to be all rusty and off key right off the bat. I can’t wait to play this version. They just keep getting better and better.
