I am so happy I had Kimberly explain to me how to install and use plugins. When I first started my blog I had no idea what I was doing let alone which plugins I would want. Luckily, she was patient and had some time on her hands because there were a few nights we were up until the wee hours of the morning on AOL instant messenger talking blogs, hosts, and plugins.
So if you are on wordpress and want to keep track of how people are finding your blog and which posts they are reading get the Blog Stats plugin (official name: WordPress.com Stats). I knew something must have been up on the DIS boards today because all of the sudden I had 12 hits to my blog with some variation of DIS boards, undis, and banned members. Sure enough a quick search over there showed that people were talking yet again about the April 2008 bannings and found my blog during their search process. I also discovered today that quite a few people have clicked on my blog link from my facebook account so my friends are reading my profile over there after all!
