When I am stressed out the first thing I run to when I get home is my garden sized bath tub and fill it up with hot water and bubble bath. It tends to do the trick as I lay back and sip on my Bud Light and forget about my worries. All I could use is jet streams shooting at me and massaging me and it would be perfect.
Alas, that is not an option so I’ll just have to make due and dream about the hot tub I would love to install when i buy my first house. I already have it planned out
I will put it in one of the back corners of my yard on the opposite end that the BBQ grill will be on. I figure we will build a deck similar to what Mike’s sister and brother in-law have where it has some benches and a BBQ pit and well on the other end I’ll just stick a hot tub
It would cost less to pop one in vs. the cost of an in-ground pool.
And when I’m not using it, I can just pull over my hot tub cover.
Oh and that is one other cool thing. I found a site that sells hot tub accessories. Basically, you can purchase interchangeable hot tub picture scenes that go on the underside of your hot tub cover. No need to spend a lot on landscaping when you put up one of these covers and back your tub against a backyard fence. These covers are just gorgeous. These scenes are different relaxing scenes like beach scenes, waterfalls, forest springs. You get the picture. Installation seems quick and easy as well. Since it is a one-size fits all item you just need a ruler, pencil, and tape and you are all set. No cutting or fancy work involved. Plus no need to worry about your kiddos being too rough as they are water proof, chemical proof, and very durable if junior starts to pull at them.
This is my favorite scene as it matches the picture on my laptop desktop. Hopefully I’ll get to start looking at it instead of the tile on my wall in a few years.

Happy relaxing!
