Hey Bloggers! Are you looking for an easier method to earn money for blogging? I know with rising gas prices, food prices, and well let’s face it everything is increasing, I surely am looking for easier methods! Not too long ago I wrote about SocialSpark which is the new online community brought to us by the people who run PPP. Basically SocialSpark is similar in that you and advertisers meet in a marketplace to buy and sell paid blog advertisements (opps) in the form of sponsored posts. I finally had a chance to really look around the site tonight and gain a better understanding on how the opps work, how you reserve an opp, and how to submit them. I can’t believe how easy it all was. I should have sat down sooner and figured this great site out. Here are some interesting things I learned tonight.
What is new and different about SocialSpark can be found in their straightforward code of ethics. SocialSpark allows no-follow tags which help keep your page rank up and keep your blog search engine friendly, allow you to give your real opinions on paid opps, and include inpost disclosures on the opps you take. There are two other feature that I did need to do a little research to understand – the request & queue features. Basically, SocialSpark does what PPP does – categorizes opps as available to you or not. The new feature though is that you may request consideration from advertisers on posts that you would really like to take but do not qualify. If you state your case and it is accepted, the advertiser will open the opp up to you and you will have 12 hours to complete it. Another awesome feature is the queue. If there are no available slots for you with an opportunity you qualify for you may place yourself in the queue and if a slot opens up you are emailed a notice and you have 12 hours to log in and complete it. I thought that was pretty neat. I like the longer time period you are given vs. PPP and the ability to request posts that are not open to you but you find interesting.
I highly recommend checking out SocialSpark and joining their online community to gain tips and an understanding on how to use the site and then jump right in and start blogging and earning that gas money so you can spend your hard earned money on more fun things like vacations and clothes.
