The Blonde Diaries

I just had to share how my day is going so far. Nothing spectacular has happened but I did have 2 small personal victories.

I started my day off by waking up at 7 am. Weird I know but I was super excited about the trip my friend and I have planned for October 16 when we will drive over to San Antonio for the New Kids on the Block Reunion tour and then hang out at the Riverwalk the next day before heading back to Houston. We cannot wait. My friend has been listing to their Greatest Hits album for the past few weeks. So at 10 am I was on ticketmaster.com and scored 2 tickets right off the floor so we are close but not floor close. I actually prefer our seats to floor tickets because on the floor everyone is on the same level so if you get some really tall people in front of you then you are screwed.

So victory #2 is even smaller. If you’ve noticed I’ve added a page called Earnings Tracker on the left side bar. Basically I am trying to finish earning the final $250 for my Disney trip in September so that it is completely free and then I’ve added a bigger goal: a honeymoon in Greece. Now I’m not sure if Greece is going to work out because it is much higher than what Mike and I want to spend but if I earn enough to knock down the total Mike and I can afford to go! I’ve put in my ticker the money I’ve set aside from previously doing surveys and such a few months back so I have a good head start.

So one of my online buddies, Janet from Janet’s Book Nook, started a challenge for herself: earn $10 a day via surveys and the likes. I figure I had nothing to lose and it would keep me motivated so I’m doing the same. So today was day 1 for me and I made my goal! Now I just need to keep this up but I may have to get creative on this end.
