Putting the Cart before the Horse
Most of the time the saying “putting the cart before the horse” means you are focusing on the wrong thing at the wrong time and you should change. There are a few instances thought that I find putting the cart before the horse to be therapeutic and relaxing. Why? Well because it allows me to change my focus and forget about my worries at the moment.
Today was one of those days where I needed mindless stress relief so I started thinking about my honeymoon next year. I know it seems really silly since I don’t even have a date set and am still tracking down a reception hall but thinking about the after part of this whole thing was soothing. I have a few ideas on places to go. We aren’t really beachy people but we do like going and hanging in the sun and doing a little sight seeing here and there. My heart is set on a cruise around the Greek Isles but unless gas starts going down and I start finding cheap vendors I think I might be looking for something a tad closer to home.
I found some fabulous looking St. Barts villa rentals that started at about $1300 per week for a 1 bedroom villa with a pool/hot tub which doesn’t seem so bad. Nice beach and near other islands that we can hop around to. It could be fun. A mini-Greece without having to go overseas and boarding a cruise ship. Anyone ever been to St. Barts? Do they have a lot to do down there?
