Sprucing up your home

After 3 years living in the same apartment with the same fixtures I am starting to get a little “stir crazy”. I still have a few years until I can get into a house of my own (and start fighting the horrid Houston traffic) but it hasn’t kept me from window shopping. So far I have found some really really nice houses in the suburbs that Mike and I won’t have any problems affording and I have started looking at art prints to decorate our rooms. I’ve been following my friend Kimberly’s blog who is working on an addition to her house which has me also checking out shower head fixtures and lighting fixtures. I’m not sure which feel Mike and I’s house will take on or what Kimberly will be attacking after her new room/bathroom combo but I fell in love with this light fixture today as it reminds me of candles and candle lit dinners.

Hinkley lighting has a ton of different light fixtures that vary from modern to very classical styles so I think I’ll pass this link around to those doing remodels or just looking for a way to spruce up their homes on a budget. I wish my dining area had a better set up because I might just pop for something new in here that I can take with me to my own house in a few years.
