I can’t believe its May already!
Where has this year gone? I cannot grasp the fact that today is May 2nd. Where is 2008 going? It seems like yesterday I was just starting busy season (Jan 15th-ish) and trying to psyche myself up to handle all the challenges it would bring to me.
I’m not really sure what brought this on except maybe that my brother was talking last week about the end of the semester and final projects due soon and then the start of finals. I didn’t think too much of it at the time. We also started talking about cancelling the flights to London that we should be taking in just 2 weeks. I really need to do that this weekend. That trip crept up so fast. Too bad none of us are actually going on it now.
Then tonight I saw an ad for P.S. I Love You because it is being released on DVD next Tuesday. I remember going on a girls night with my friend the first or second week it came out which was a long while ago - December maybe? By the way I highly recommend both the book and the movie. You really have to be ready to be sad and in a crying mood. I would not recommend this movie for a mother’s day gift - not so sure it would be appreciated.
Is anyone else completely blown away by how fast this year is going?
I feel the same way. I changed jobs this year and can’t believe I’ve almost finished my first school year at my new school - the entire school year has flown by. We only have 3 more Mondays.
